Improvements set for Point San Pedro Road corridor

This year, several major roadway improvements along the Point San Pedro Road corridor in eastern San Rafael will be constructed to enhance safety for pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists. The work being coordinated by Marin County Department of Public Works and City of San Rafael includes pedestrian safety upgrades, roadway stabilization and pavement treatments designed to maintain and enhance one of East San Rafael’s key transportation corridors.

“Point San Pedro Road is relied on every day by residents, students, and park visitors,” said Supervisor Mary Sackett, whose district includes the corridor. “These improvements will enhance roadway safety and support the reliability as a transportation corridor for years to come.”
