North Carolina received $873 million to continue recovery efforts from when Hurricane Helene struck in 2024, causing historic levels of damage in the western region and resulting in more than 1,400 road closures.
Hawaii received $81 million to help repair damage caused by a series of Kona Low storms in March 2026, which resulted in severe flooding throughout Hawaii.
Texas received $52 million to help repair damage caused by severe statewide rainfall; damage that included multiple bridge washouts, including the FM 1431 bridge that connects Lago Vista and Marble Falls.
