Solar and Wind projects on U.S. federal land will now receive extra review
Interior Secretary Doug Burgum’s office will now reform the process of permitting rights-of-way, leases, construction and operations plans and other projects. This announcement comes from new reform initiatives from The White House on renewable energy and includes new rules on tax credits for tax credits and incentives for wind and solar projects. Changing regulations and boosting domestic energy supply spearhead the goal behind the new orders to more quickly phase out tax credits for solar and wind projects.
