The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) announced the result of its latest election, naming Rossana D’Antonio, P.E., G.E., ENV SP, F.ASCE, as the Society’s next president-elect. She will serve as the society’s president-elect and president in 2027 and 2028, respectively. D’Antonio previously held the position of an at-large director on the ASCE Board of Direction 2022-25.

D’Antonio spent most of her career at Los Angeles County Public Works for 33 years, including serving as deputy director of municipal services and emergency management. She currently works at NV5, a global consulting firm, as its executive director.

“I want to serve as ASCE president-elect … because this profession has shaped my life in ways that go far beyond projects or job titles,” said D’Antonio. “My career has been shaped by service, resilience and a belief that leadership must be both technically sound and profoundly human.”
