Water Leadership Institute 2025 Graduates
The Water Leadership Institute (WLI) Class of 2025 brings together 83 water professionals from 27 U.S. states, Canada, and New Zealand, marking the program’s 14th graduating class. These leaders, who join more than 590 alumni, completed the year-long program at WEFTEC 2025, where they were recognized for their work. Through WLI’s intensive curriculum, participants engaged in leadership development, management training and networking, while tackling complex issues facing the water and wastewater industries. For the second year, WLI successfully ran two parallel cohorts, expanding opportunities for collaboration across the sector.
As part of their capstone project, the 2025 cohorts produced a YouTube series titled Turning Challenges into Strengths Through Resilient Leadership and developed companion columns that will appear in Water Environment & Technology magazine throughout 2026. The program continues to cultivate resilient leadership while inspiring innovation in water management. Applications for the 2026 class will open on November 3, with details available on the program’s website.
