ODOT highlights 2025 accomplishments

On Feb. 5, 2026, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced the highlights of its 2025 accomplishments. The ODOT oversaw approximately 290 projects that added significant highway infrastructure or improved the safety or condition of area highways in northwest Ohio. Approximately 90 contract projects totaling $327 million were managed, while another roughly 200 were completed by ODOT’s own forces throughout the 16-county region.

One of the highlights included a diverging diamond interchange (DDI) opening in August at U.S. 20A and Interstate 475, Maumee, Lucas County. Another included the reconstructed interchange at County Road 99 and Interstate 75, Findlay, Hancock County.
