CTDOT Breaks Ground on New Station in Naugatuck

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has begun construction on a new train station, one of several projects among CTDOT’s $140 million initiative to upgrade all six stations on the Waterbury Branch line. The station is expected to be open in summer 2027, equipped with a snow-melt system, energy-efficient LED lighting and upgraded safety features.
