USDOT Announces New Administrator of the Federal Transit Administration
The U.S. Department of Transportation announced Marcus J. Molinaro as the 16th Administrator of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) after being confirmed by the Senate. After serving as a Congressman on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, Administrator Molinaro will face the task of revitalizing U.S. transit systems to ensure safety and accessibility for all Americans. U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean. P. Duffy commends the Senate’s decision on confirming him and President Trump’s appointment of him to the position.
Secretary Duffy stated, “I am confident Administrator Molinaro will help usher in the golden age of transit helping our transit partners maintain safe and clean systems that move American families forward.”
