U.S. Transportation Secretary speeds to get America building again
U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy has expedited the processing of infrastructure grants, approving 529 recent grants totaling $2.9 billion—bringing his total cleared to roughly one-third of the Biden‑Buttigieg backlog, valued at about $10 billion across more than 1,065 projects . These grants span highway, transit, aviation, rail and port projects and are intended to accelerate construction and reduce administrative delays.
