Nevada’s Infrastructure Improves to a ‘C+’ Grade
Nevada’s 2025 infrastructure report, released by ASCE, upgraded the state’s overall grade from a C to a C+, making it one of only four states to earn this highest rating. The state scored strongest in bridges (B–) and wastewater (B–), while dams and drinking water remained weakest (C–), highlighting ongoing concerns about funding and aging systems. Although significant progress has been made, experts emphasize Nevada must continue investing—especially in long-term maintenance and innovative financing—to sustain and further improve its infrastructure.
