Minnesota water infrastructure investments signed into law
On Jan. 30, 2026, Congressman Pete Stauber celebrated H.R. 6938, Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026, being signed into law, securing more than $10 million in Community Project Funding for critical infrastructure and water projects. The measure will deliver tangible investments that will strengthen communities, enhance water quality and economic growth across the Northland.
“Making sure Minnesotans have access to clean and reliable water has always been a top priority of mine and I’m proud to have secured more than $10 million for these vital projects,” said Congressman Stauber in a released statement. “These funds will improve water treatment facilities, upgrade wastewater systems and build stronger infrastructure across the Eighth District. I’ll continue working hard to bring federal dollars home to the Northland and support our communities.”
