Iowa American Water invests $55M in water systems
Last year, Iowa American Water invested more than $55 million towards upgrading water and wastewater systems across eastern Iowa, including several projects affecting the Quad Cities area. The investment is part of a broader push to improve aging infrastructure.
“There’s a lot of work to be done in this realm and (the company has) consistently taken a very proactive role in making sure that the water we deliver to our customers meets current standards but also standards that are going to be coming into existence in the future,” said Lisa Reisen, senior manager of external communications for Iowa American Water.
