Energy Secretary Visits Jefferson Lab, Advancing U.S. Nuclear Science and AI
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright visited the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility to discuss advancing technologies for strengthening American energy. As one the DOE’s of 17 National Laboratories, Jefferson Lab is a key player in nuclear research and stands to play a role in American AI innovation. As a nuclear science laboratory for the Department of Energy, the lab is known for its Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility, a world-class particle accelerator that allows studies of nuclear physics to be conducted.
