DOE Announces Organizational Realignment to Strengthen Efficiency
The U.S. Department of Energy is reorganizing its structure to more directly support President Trump’s agenda of “American energy dominance.” The changes prioritize expanding energy production, accelerating scientific innovation and reinforcing the security of the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile.
According to the U.S. Department of Energy, “Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, the Energy Department is aligning its operations to restore commonsense to energy policy, lower costs for American families and businesses and ensure the responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars,” said U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright.
