North Carolina Announces $ 240 Million in Water Improvements
North Carolina Gov. Josh Stein awarded $ 240 Million across 48 projects for drinking water and wastewater infrastructure improvements. The funding is a mix of federal grants, revolving loan repayments and low-interest loans that could be partially forgiven in the future.
N.C. Department of Environmental Quality Secretary Reid Wilson said, “This funding will address aging infrastructure and improve public health for communities large and small.”
